Nicholas Renotte: I trained a Sign Language Detection Transformer (here's how you can do it too!)

I built NODDY v1—a from-scratch, PyTorch-only DETR pipeline fine-tuned to spot sign language gestures (but you can totally repurpose it for other object detection tasks). It handles everything from loading my pre-trained transformer to running live detections on your webcam.
