My name is Takeshi. I’m a senior software engineer based in Japan with about 9 years of experience working on web, AI-driven, and full-stack projects. I currently lead a small engineering team, and over the years we’ve delivered projects for clients across Japan and other parts of Asia.

Recently, I’ve been looking into ways to gradually expand our work beyond our local market. In the process, I’ve noticed that companies in the US and Canada often prefer having someone locally involved, especially for early conversations and interviews, even when the development work is handled remotely.
